Origin: Fatima was born and raised in Hermosillo, a town in the Sonoran Desert in Mexico. After obtaining her professional degree she transferred to Arizona with the company she was working for. She comes from a family of educators and builders that have influenced her passion and career focus.
Personal Focus: Fatima started in the NOMA chapter working with and chairing the K-12 outreach committee to bring the profession of architecture, design, and construction to younger generations. She believes a more diverse profession means a more diverse set of ideas and solutions that would create a greater impact in our community.
