Join us at Schaefer’s new office to learn about structural system selection. Our friends at Schaefer invite you to a happy hour/firm introduction before the session followed by Q&A for those that can stay afterwards. We look forward to seeing you all there – please be sure to RSVP so we know how many people to expect and do forward this along to any friends that may be interested.

With structures getting larger and more complex, and with sustainability and the variable nature of both material costs and availability, we intend to present the importance of communicating with your structural engineer to evaluate what type(s) of structural system(s) will be most appropriate to help achieve your design intent and project goals while navigating cost, schedule, and constraints.
Prerequisite Knowledge:
Familiarity with Occupancy Classification, Construction Type, and general construction materials.
Speaker Description
Matt Horne PE, Marshall Carman PE SE, Chris Harper, PE, SE all Principals at Schaefer, will help with the understanding on how to best create a successful project and achieve the most optimal outcome.
