For our May Coffee Talk, we’re excited to host at Laymoon Café in Tempe. This month’s topic is about Building a Career Without the Perfect Map. This is for people who are learning how to navigate their career while continuing to move forward. It may include pivoting, outgrowing old goals, exploring alternative paths, or embracing change along the way. Whether you are new to your career or an experienced professional, we’d love to hear where you want to go or how you got to where you are now. We invite you to join us on Saturday, May 30th, at Laymoon Cafe to hear people’s perspectives, questions, and advice as everyone navigates their careers in different ways. We’d love to see you there!
About Laymoon Cafe: Laymoon Cafe is a Palestinian- and Syrian-owned café located in Downtown Tempe on the north side of ASU’s campus. Known for its warm and welcoming atmosphere, the café blends heritage with modern community. They serve Turkish coffee along with a variety of drinks, pastries, and food.
Cost: It’s free! We just ask that you purchase a beverage or food from Laymoon Cafe as a way to support local businesses.
Where to meet: Look for our “NOMAarizona Coffee Talks” sign on our table. Also, look for our story on the NOMAarizona Instagram for the specific table on the day of the event.
What are Coffee Talks? Coffee Talks are a NOMAarizona bi-monthly event. Order a warm or iced beverage of your choice from rotating cafe locations around the valley. In Coffee Talks, we come together to share, listen, and learn in a casual setting. This is a place where light and heavy topics can be discussed welcomingly while learning from different perspectives and joining in community. We encourage all to participate in the conversation as we explore many topics and coffee shops with NOMAarizona.
