Coffee Talk #14 – Celebrating Indigenous People’s Month

November is Indigenous People’s month and in recognition, we’d like to welcome all to join in conversation and share stories about your Indigenous heritage. We will be celebrating your roots on November 11th, Veteran’s Day, and would like to thank and honor all who have served.

This Coffee Talk will be located at Beanchain whose powerful mission is stated in the following:

“The Beanchain” is designed to help with workers’ rights and poverty. Here’s a couple ways we want to use our space.

Worker Directed: Ensure the workers have more of a say in their workplace

Profit Sharing: Make sure people get more of the value they create for the organization back!

Community Courses/Workshops: Teaching others to help them build careers and life skills

Guest Star Bakers: Helping bakers to get their start and build a business
