What Is Project Pipeline?
Project Pipeline is a national program facilitated by the National Organization of Minority Architects the idea was born in 2002 at the national conference in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The focus was to establish a day camp to introduce minority students to architecture. The first camp was implemented four years later in Cincinnati by the Southwest Ohio chapter of NOMA.
The MISSION
To empower young people to affect change in their community through design.
Project Pipeline in Arizona continues this legacy with local camps in Arizona open to students of color from 6th -12th grade providing the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of architecture and design. Students work closely with local architects and emerging professionals in architecture to bring their own designs to life as they wish to see within their own community.
