Origin: Kai is the second generation to go into the field of architecture in his family. Though he was born in Indianapolis, he has lived in five states and spent most of his time growing up in the Phoenix Metropolitan Area. He considers the many different cultures and people he has encountered across the US to have greatly impacted his outlook both as a designer and a person.
Personal focus: Taking from his own experiences as a transgender and autistic individual, Kai seeks to help create a world which is welcoming to all people.
