SUMMARY:Z Modular Manufacturing Plant Tour - Modular Apartments
DESCRIPTION:The March tour is being hosted by STG Design and Z Modular. \nZ Modular is a modular manufacturer specializing in off-site fabricated apartment housing across the US and Canada. The event will tour the factory floor starting with raw steel and walking attendees through each phase of the construction process. At the end of the tour\, attendees will be able to see a finished model unit of what the end user would inhabit. Modular and off-site manufactured housing aims to speed up construction in a controlled environment by delivering needed housing to markets on a faster timeline. In a plant setting\, an indoor construction environment allows a safer and better work culture\, leading to less turnover than that seen on typical construction sites and a higher-end finished building. \n\nAttendees must be in full PPE. At minimum this means closed-toed shoes and full-length pants. Attendees will not be allowed on the factory floor with open shoes or heels. If attendees have hard hats\, vests\, and safety glasses they are encouraged to bring them. If not\, we will have PPE available on site.\n\nWe will meet in main lobby. Security is strict so the front door may be locked after we begin. Late attendees may not be able to enter. Please be prompt! \nThe maximum capacity of the tour is 25 persons\, so RSVP early and if your plans change\, please notify pastpresident@nomaarizona.org so that we can give someone else the opportunity. RSVP Here. \nBottled water and restrooms will be available. \nSee parking information below.
