DESCRIPTION:NOMAarizona is collaborating with AIA Arizona for Arizona Architects Advocacy day on Tuesday\, March 17\, at the Arizona State Capitol. When architects engage in advocacy\, we help shape the policies that impact our practice. Your presence reinforces the value of architecture in legislative decisions made about the built environment.\n\nAll NOMAarizona members are welcome and encouraged to participate.\n\nTentative Schedule for the day [final schedule to be announced]\n\n8:30 am  arrival at Arizona State Capitol\nsoon thereafter visit the Arizona Senate floor as a group with Senator Bravo\n10-12 noon  select appointments with key state legislators. Also\, our table of information is available in Historic Senate Chamber\n12 noon-1 pm  lunch with legislators in Historic Senate Chamber.\n1 pm onward  select appointments with key state legislators\, or proceed to view the House floor proceedings\n2 pm Blaise Caudill\, Deputy Director of Resiliency\, Governor’s Office of Resilience & Energy Policy Advisor\, is scheduled to speak with our group\n\n\n\n\n\nSee the link below to register for the event.
