DESCRIPTION:We are excited to share an extraordinary opportunity to tour the Arabian Library\, hosted by Richard Kennedy Principal Architects\, Andy Timberg and Lee Swanson\, on October 27th at 3:00 pm!\n\nThe Arabian Library pays homage to Arizona’s desert slot canyons and Monument Valley\, capturing the essence of stone walls and open skies. Water’s patient work over millennia carved these sandstone canyons. The LEED Certified structure boasts a flexible subfloor system\, efficient cooling\, and acoustically-enhanced interiors. It features an innovative program blending a library with a café and bookstore inspired by contemporary bookstore concepts.\n\nWe will meet in the central courtyard at 3:00 pm where Andy Timberg and Lee Swanson will start the tour. Louisa Aikin\, Arabian Library Branch Manager\, will share insights on the library’s community impact.\n\n\nRefreshments are also included\, while no PPE is required.
